Make learning and teaching more effective with active participation and student collaboration
The Instructor is expected to take the class through the following orientation before they begin each course level. Students are required to obey all the rules and regulations of the college as stipulated in the catalog.
Policy 1
Students shall only begin a course after fully registering for the specific course. This includes the payment of registration fees by using any acceptable mode of payment. Students are required to register through the registrar’s office.
Policy 2
Students are required to have access to a reliable internet connection and a compatible device (e.g., computer, tablet, smartphone) capable of accessing the course materials and participating in online activities.
Policy 3
Students are required to actively participate in online discussions, group activities, or collaborative projects. The frequency and quality of participation will factor into the final grade or evaluation criteria.
Policy 4
We recognize the relationship between class attendance and academic success. Therefore, attendance is mandatory for all classes. Missing classes without valid explanations will attract consequences. This includes grade penalties, such as deducting points for missed assignments or participation.
Policy 5
Valid explanations will include excused absences such as illness, family emergencies, or college-sanctioned events. In such cases, students may be required to provide documentation to verify the reason for their absence.

All students are expected to observe specific course deadlines such as deadlines for assignments, quizzes, and exams.

All students shall uphold academic honesty. Consequences for academic dishonesty will include failing grades and disciplinary actions.
Policy 8
Students are expected to behave appropriately. Improper language and tone are discouraged during interactions with instructors and fellow students.
Policy 9
All classes shall have a class representative. The class representative will sere as a mediator between the instructor and students.
